FR-x3Eis a revolutionary new fire-retardant fabric exclusive to 5.11 Tactical. This unique material contains 51% S.P.Ecotton and 49% FR-x3 modacrylic fiber. It inherits cottons natural breathability, comfort and ease of care, yet its fire-retardant nature is inherent to the fabric and doesnt wash or wear out. FR-x3 exceeds minimum standards in NFPA tests for after-flame and no-drip properties according to ASTM D6413.
The FLASH Shirt is an extraordinary new product for operators who require protection from flash fires. Made from 6.8-oz. FR-x3Ecanvas, the shirt is triple-stitched and bartacked for lasting durability. It features 5.11s hidden document pockets and a smooth front placket. Cuffs are secured with hook-and-loop closures and the left sleeve features pockets for chem-lights.
